JobNimbus’ Kaili Smith tells us about her latest innovations including a new mobile app!

Heidi Ellsworth: We’re on the sound stage at IRE in Dallas, Texas. I know I’ve mentioned this before, presented by SRS, but here’s my dear friend today who I think left the roofing industry for a minute.
Kaili Smith: Yes.
Heidi Ellsworth: And when she came back I was so happy. I was so happy because we missed you so much. This is Callie from JobNimbus. Callie, introduce yourself.
Kaili Smith: Hello. I’m with JobNimbus. I’m the marketing manager there. It was great. Yes. Love it for a minute and came back because I missed the roofing too much.
Heidi Ellsworth: I know.
Kaili Smith: It’s great here.
Heidi Ellsworth: Nobody leaves the roof. That’s exactly how it works.
Kaili Smith: No, and then if you try, you’ll be withdrawn straight away.
Heidi Ellsworth: That’s right.
Kaili Smith: It’s just too much fun. This is really great.
Heidi Ellsworth: I know. It is so good. So it’s wild out there.
Kaili Smith: Oh yes. There are many people. And it’s crazy to get in line.
Heidi Ellsworth: It’s insane waiting in line, we keep hearing that. So tell us what’s happening at the JobNimbus booth. What are you guys talking about with this IRE?
Kaili Smith: Yeah, so this time we’re Boost Blended Two, which is really cool. If you would like to learn more about us, we would be happy to show you a demo or our mobile app. We launched our new mobile app this year and it received 2000 reviews and 4.7 stars out of five this morning. It’s so much better and way easier to do offline, so we’re happy to show it off. And then we have another area for our customers. So if you are a customer, stop by our stand. We have our support team here. We have our product team here for feedback. Do you have our setup.
Heidi Ellsworth: Pretty.
Kaili Smith: We have our account managers. we are all here We’ve got your back. We want to make sure everything is ready for the high season.
Heidi Ellsworth: You have a great stand.
Kaili Smith: Yes.
Heidi Ellsworth: I know someone walked by and said, “Have you seen the JobNimbus booth?” That’s really great. Congratulations.
Kaili Smith: Yes, it’s great. We’re really lucky.
Heidi Ellsworth: That’s really good. So you and I talked too. They do great marketing and really provide content and information. So I know you are working on a benchmark report.
Kaili Smith: Yes.
Heidi Ellsworth: And we’re going to do a few things together.
Kaili Smith: Yes.
Heidi Ellsworth: Tell us about it.
Kaili Smith: So I’m really excited. We officially launched it yesterday, so you can go to our website. jobnimbus.com/peakperformance only. So we surveyed about 3% of the roofing industry, which is super cool. Thank you for everyone who replied. It’s super hard to do that.
Heidi Ellsworth: That’s huge.
Kaili Smith: Thank you for letting us interview you. And we split into different parts. So best practices for marketing, best practices for sales, production, cash flow, communication.
Heidi Ellsworth: Wow, okay.
Kaili Smith: Future Outlook. We wanted to see what the best of the best are doing and we’ve broken this down by revenue and ratings. Because reviews equal money, right?
Heidi Ellsworth: Yes.
Kaili Smith: So we wanted to make sure we could say, ‘okay, what are you doing? What are your best of the best? Where are you, what are you focusing on?” And it’s really cool. We have key takeaways for each section because benchmarks are great.
Heidi Ellsworth: Yes.
Kaili Smith: We love her. But often while reading you say: “Okay, so what?”
Heidi Ellsworth: Right.
Kaili Smith: So we’re answering that for you. “Hey, that’s what matters. These are your next steps to be at the top of your class.” I’m really excited, it’s such a good report.
Heidi Ellsworth: When we thought about it, that’s the part that I really liked, and I don’t see that very often. But you really pointed out that it’s best-in-class that’s doing it, so you can integrate that. This is unique.
Kaili Smith: Yes. That’s why we’re here. We are here to be roofing heroes. That’s what we said from the start, that’s our mission statement. And what could be nicer than doing that? Let’s see where you are and what your next step is to get better. So you want to get a high rating? Turns out you want to use social media. If you want a highly rated company.
Heidi Ellsworth: Yes! Here we are.
Kaili Smith: You want to send SMS, you want to be able to take digital payments. Those are the three biggest leading indicators. That’s why we want to make sure everyone can find some simple items that you don’t have to pay for, that you don’t have to do, that just integrate into your process.
Heidi Ellsworth: Learning from each other, that’s what this is all about.
Kaili Smith: Exactly.
